Phytotron HQ is for Phytotron staff. The office gives out logins and can fix most problems for you.

Signing in

I don't have a login

Ask your manager. The office adds your mobile number and gives you a temporary 6-digit PIN, usually on WhatsApp.

I forgot my PIN, or it is blocked

After several wrong tries, sign-in pauses for 15 minutes. If you have forgotten the PIN, ask the office to reset it (Office → People → your name → Reset PIN). You get a temporary PIN and choose your own the next time you sign in. Nobody at Phytotron can see your PIN.

I have a new phone or a new number

Sign in on the new phone with the same mobile number and PIN. If your number changed, ask the office to update it first.

Location and the day's route

The route is recorded only between Start day and Finish day. In the Phytotron HQ app it keeps recording with the phone in your pocket if you allow location all the time; a notification (Android) or the blue indicator (iPhone) shows while it records. If the app says location is blocked or the route has gaps:

  • Android app: Settings → Apps → Phytotron HQ → Permissions → Location → Allow all the time, with Use precise location on.
  • iPhone app: Settings → Phytotron HQ → Location → Always, with Precise Location on.
  • In Chrome or Safari: tap the icon next to the address and allow Location for phytotron-hq.vercel.app.

If you allow location only while using the app, or use the browser, keep the app open while you travel: the route stops when the phone locks and picks up again when you open the app. Factory and office staff: check-in needs location only for that moment.

No signal

Visits, orders, payments and claims you save without signal wait on the phone and are sent when the signal returns. Do not sign out or clear the app's data while items are still waiting.

Getting the app

  • Android: from the Google Play link the office sends you (or, until then, the test APK link).
  • iPhone: through Apple's TestFlight invitation the office sends you.
  • Any phone, without the app: open phytotron-hq.vercel.app and add it to the home screen (Chrome: ⋮ → Add to Home screen; Safari: Share → Add to Home Screen).
